Growing up on various Western and Japanese cartoons as well as reading manga this artist gained an interest for posters and has begun to explore that path throughout the recent years. Using past illustrations they started creating posters for fun to get a better understanding of typography and the way it interacts with the rest of the image. They then started to get into music covers which opened even more doors. Throughout this process they accumulated various references from vintage music band promo posters, vintage and current movie posters and music covers. Since then the artist has gained more knowledge on color theory, perspective, typography, and most importantly poster making. They’ve used these new found skills to create fan art of beloved characters and build their own concepts with original characters as well. Specifically with the idea of creating promo posters for performers and/or creators of all kind. The artist is excited to see where this takes them moving forward.
